The aircraft, serial number 1116, was delivered to Sunlight Air on September 19, 2025, and will be used for Sunlight Air’s scheduled and charter passenger services within the Philippines. The aircraft is the first ATR 72-600 to be operated by Sunlight Air, which also operates three ATR 72-500 series aircraft.
Sunlight Air was founded in 2019 and is a privately-owned scheduled air carrier serving six destinations in the Philippines: Cebu, Siargao, Boracay, Coron, Clark, and Manila. Its main base is at the Ninoy Aquino International Airport and Clark International Airport in Manila.
