The first aircraft, serial number 1124, was delivered to Loganair on December 11, 2023; the second, serial number 1160 (pictured), was delivered April 11th, 2024. These are the initial two of a multi-aircraft ATR72-600 commitment between Jetstream and Loganair and will be used for Loganair’s scheduled and charter passenger operations throughout the United Kingdom. They will be followed by additional ATR72-600s which will be delivered to Loganair in the coming months.
Loganair, founded in 1962, is an UK CAA-certificated air carrier operating de Havilland DHC-6, ATR 42 and ATR 72 turboprop aircraft and Embraer ERJ145 jet aircraft for passenger and cargo operations throughout the United Kingdom. Loganair also operates the Britten Normal BN2 Islander on its’ local Orkney Island services and is a longstanding leasing customer of Jetstream Aviation Capital.
Jetstream Aviation Capital, founded in 2010, is a Miami-based aircraft lessor specializing in commercially operated regional turboprop aircraft, and is the largest global owner of Saab 340 and Saab 2000 aircraft and associated spares and engines. Jetstream’s portfolio of over 150 aircraft also includes ATR72-600, Cessna Caravan, Embraer EMB-120 and Pilatus PC-12 passenger and cargo aircraft.
