Bill Jones

Bill Jones has more than thirty-five years of experience in the commercial aviation industry, including air carrier management, business planning, maintenance operations, dispatch, aircraft sales and leasing. He is a founding principal of Jetstream Aviation Capital.

He was Vice President of Aircraft Leasing at JetStream International, formerly Jetstream Aviation Capital’s sister entity, from 2005 to 2009. Previously, he was President and General Manager of Chalk’s Ocean Airways, Paradise Island Airlines and Walkers Aviation, U.S. FAR Part 121 and Part 135 Air Carriers. He also served as the general manager of Flying Boat International’s Part 145 Aircraft Repair Station.

In 2003, Bill was the recipient of the Greater Miami Aviation Association’s Juan Trippe Award for his outstanding contributions to International Aviation. Prior to entering the aviation industry, Bill was a counselor and administrator for children’s mental health agencies in Broward County, Florida. He holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology from the University of Florida and Master’s degree in Counseling from Florida Atlantic University.
