Vice President, Business Development
During his thirty year career in the commercial aviation sector, Bob Wikowitz has held positions responsible for aircraft sales and leasing, trading, asset management, contracting, marketing planning and analysis with global manufacturers of regional aircraft and engines as well as aircraft leasing organizations. He is based in Jetstream’s office in Northern Virginia, near the Dulles International Airport.
Prior to his joining Jetstream, he was Vice President, Sales and Leasing for Falko Regional Aircraft, a private equity-owned lessor of regional and mainline aircraft. From 2004 to 2011, he was Vice President of Sales and Leasing for BAe Systems, a division of the regional aircraft manufacturer British Aerospace. In that capacity, he was responsible for the marketing, sales and leasing of that manufacturer’s regional turboprop and jet aircraft throughout North and South America. From 1997 until 2004, he held positions of increasing responsibility with BAe Systems, including Head of Leasing and Trading (2001-2004), Director – Sales and Commercial Contracts (1998-2001), and Director – Commercial Contracts and Commercial Manager (1996-1998).
Previously, he served as an account executive for JSX Capital Corporation, where he was responsible for management of certain aspects of their aircraft leasing portfolio, and for managing the client due diligence process. He also held business planning and analytical positions with positions with British Aerospace and Pratt & Whitney, a division of United Technologies.
Bob holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Aviation Management from the Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University in Daytona Beach, Florida and attended Graduate-level coursework at the University of Hartford, Connecticut in International Marketing.
