Chief Financial Officer
Scott Peterson’s career includes over thirty-five years of diverse industry experience within startup, early stage, turnaround, high-growth and international enterprises. As Jetstream’s Chief Financial Officer, he is responsible for overall financial strategy and direction, including planning, accounting, treasury, administration and IT activities, and is based in our Miami office.
Scott brings significant financial management, business leadership and corporate strategy credentials to Jetstream, including aviation-related experience as Chief Financial Officer for Miami Air International, where he led their post 9/11 restructuring and company sale, and Director of Finance for DHL’s Latin America Region during their profitable expansion during the 1990s.
He also served in several senior financial roles within the private equity community, as Chief Financial Officer for Sunbelt Diversified Enterprises and as Partner at Black Dragon Capital, both Florida based private equity firms; and as financial executive for various PE-backed portfolio companies. He began his career on the audit staff of KPMG followed by corporate assignments with ADP, Randstad, Proudfoot Consulting and Viasource Communications.
Scott earned a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from Providence College, a Master of Business Administration from Nova Southeastern University in Ft. Lauderdale, Florida and is a Certified Public Accountant in New York State.
